Ordered a Motorola wireless modem online. When install tech from Time Warner Cable came to activate our line, he told me that I didn't need the modem to return it. I returned the modem unopened in the orginal package/box immediately. When I called for the status of my refund, I was told that I wouldn't get one because the modem appeared to be damaged in transit. I explained that I didn't open the package and shipped it back in the same shape/form that I received it, and was told it didn't matter, that the consumer is responsible for damaged product while in transit. It doesn't state that anywhere and it may have been shipped to me in that condition because I never opened, so I never used it to see if it was damaged. I asked to talk to someone more in authority, and was told that there was no one at the number that I called who had authority. I asked for another number or person to call and was told that there wasn't anyone else who could help me. I went back online and found a 1-800 number to call, but that number was no longer in service and was giving an international number to call.
