Broadcasters Training Network - BTN - NBTN - National Broadcasters Training Network This is a SERIOUS RIPOFF! Ripoff company took my $5000 but never provided training they promised Seattle Washington
Broadcasters Training Network also BTN NBTN and National Broadcasters Training Network promised me if I paid them $5,000.00 that they would place me inside a real radio station to learn the business. That's the only reason I paid them, because they supposedly train you inside a real radio station. But only AFTER I paid them did my local NBTN instructor say that the radio station he worked at would not allow me inside as a student, that we would have to meet at the shopping mall! Work on the lessons in a shopping mall!
I tried to complain, but BTN manager Andee Skjonsberg never called back, and owner Tom Mansfield at BTN but he refused to refund my money, he said I should just work on the lessons at the mall, and after I graduate maybe then I could find a job in a real radio station. I told him I would go to small claims court to get my money back, but he laughed at me and said to read the contract I signed. It says any lawsuit must be in Seattle. That's like 3000 miles away from here.
