Brookes & Co. Property Investment Specialists, Trafalgar Greenock Halls due diligence on reselling of units Maldon, Essex
Be very careful if you make property purchases thru this company. They purchashed units from Freshstart Living at Greenock Halls in Scotland. They then advertised these units for sale and sold their units off over several months as student rental properties to several investors. In fact, the planning and HMO were not in place at the time which prevents more than 2 units per floor being rentable. Their advertiying material indicated that they had done the due diligence.In reality what we got for our money was a far cry from what we were led to believe we were getting. Finally, after 2 years, we, the owners of the units have managed to get the Greenock estate moving, with no thanks to Brookes. We have asked them to explain their actions and due diligence process, but until now, no reply.
If you have had a similar experince with this company, let it be known so that future investors will be more wary when dealing with them.
