Brookfield Lending Services Ripoff Too good to be true I almost fell prey to this scam as well!! Brentwood Tennessee
On Thursday, June 14, I completed some loan applications online to pay a few unexpected expenses. I remember this one website saying that the minimum loan amount was $5000. I applied but I only wanted $3000. On Tuesday, June 19 at approximately 6:00 pm, I received a call from 416-640-3445. The caller said that his name was John McKay and that I had been approved for a $5000 loan that would be financed through a private lender. He stated that the loan would be for 3 years at 7% interest and that my payment would be $155 a month. He said that there was one condition, I had to pay 6 months worth of payments upfront which would total $930.
I told him that I did not have the money right now and would call him back by Friday. I felt like this was too good to be true, so I looked at the Better Business Bureau website and also did a google search for Brookfield Lending Services and found all of your reports. This is so sad how they are trying to rip off people with bad credit. I really almost fell for this because I really need the money. Please forward to everyone you know. I believe our information was forwarded to them by credit.com. I hope that all of you that did pay the money, get your money back soon!!! God Bless! (((ROR redacted)))
