I did a closing as a notary for Brooks Closing Services back in August of 2015 and have not received pay till this day. I went to the closing and the title company did not have the documents correct and had to reschedule. Brooks claimed that the HUD statement is where notaries make their money but as an expeirenced notary, GOOD COMPANIES still pay for you going out and printing the documents and NOT TRY TO SKIP OUT ON PAYING!!! Although another notary took the rescheduled signing, Brooks still promised to pay my trip for going out the first time including printing the documents. I have spotted multiple complaints from other notaries who have not recieved pay or either received pay months later.

Do not take any calls from this company for a signing now matter how desperate you may seem, because you may be working for free!!!

Brooks Closing Services has taken full resposibility for the late payment and compensated me for the closing.
