Here is the problem, when I went into Brooks, I had just had a car break down and I was in a panic about how I was getting to work. So on an impulse I called them and spoke with a guy named paul who was really friendly. I didnt trust him, but in a way he made me feel secure with the car I ended up buying. However, within the 72 hour grace period, my window stopped rolling down on my driver side, and stopped rolling up on my back passenger window. So I called Paul and asked if they would fix it otherwise I would terminate the contract.

He told me he was extremely busy and as a personal favor to please wait a couple days, and they would fix whatever needed to be fixed. Well when I called a couple days later, Paul was not there, so I talked to a guy named CT. He told me they wouldnt do anything because I signed an "As Is" waiver and it was past my grace period. Shortly there after I found I had no hazards and my headlights dont work. Since then the car has been falling apart on the daily. I feel like if I wasnt put off I could have terminated this contract and got a better car that suited my needs. Unfortunately, however, I bought a car from these con artists. Dont make the same mistake.

72 hour grace period?

Exactly what 72 hour grace period are you talking about? Is it something you have in writing from the dealer, or are you attempting to use the old-age "lemon law" line? There are no lemon laws in place in the state of Oregon for used vehicles. You bought a car from "someone you liked but didn't trust? HMMMMMM...I think you need to educate yourself next time. Always take a day to consider your deal...period. If you go through with it, you must be prepared to accept whatever ramifications come with your decision!
