Brookstone Law Falsly hired me. I quit my high paying job for a false job at Brookstone Law. Im jobless! Newport Beach, California
I interviewed for a great position at Brookstone Law. I got called in to fill out paperwork and was told I would start in 2 weeks. I submitted my 2 week notice to my current employer. Once I quit my job I waited until I was told when to start. I called mutliple times and emailed to the individual that hired me. I did not get a response. After a few days I got a reply claiming the there was no record of me ever being interviewed or hired. The individual that hired me has been fired. This is a completely irresponsible and unprofessional company. I am now jobless and betrayed.

If you already had a "high paying job", WHY would you quit??

I don't know if this is a case of stupidity or greed. Or both.
You stated you had a high paying job.
My question is, why were you job hunting???
Much more to the story here, for sure.
