I purchased a Brother MFC-J280W in July. The paper constantly jams when the machine is set to the corrrect paper type.

 

The machine will not load photo paper at all without jamming no matter how few or many pieces of photo paper are loaded.

 

I purchased new Brother printer cartridges and when I put them in the machine it would not recognize them. I waited 2 days for a response from Brother and then discovered the problem was caused by 2 of the ink cartridges that were brand new, factory sealed cartridges were empty. 

 

Brother refused to arrange for me to get new cartidges without waiting weeks while they investigate the problem
