I called the service to replace a lost electronic ignition key to my Mazda. The service referred a locksmith who pinned a new key to the car's computer. However, it never really worked like it should, and the car's sensors never recognized it, Fortunately, I found the original key, and to my surprise it works as it should and the car recognizes the key.

That tells me the service never really correctly pinned the new key. It also didn't stop the locksmith from charging me $495. I feel as though I was ripped off.
