I contracted with Bruce Carter's Extra Help Moving (BCEHM) for two movers to load my truck in Lake Worth, FL. The movers were late, but arrived. Truck was loaded. There was no problem with the moving service rendered.

BCEHM uses PayByCheck.com to process payments. I was charged $205 by PayByCheck.com on August 31, 2003 for the services. I was charged a second $205 by BCEHM on September 2, 2003 for the services.

Since discovering the overcharge, I have tried to arrange for a refund by phone and e-mail. The company does not have voicemail (I thought I was leaving messages after the beep on the machine--but apparently it's set to announce only). I've spoken to several individuals at the main office who tell me to call the accounting office--and they never answer the phone.

I resorted to e-mail. I've sent a dozen requests for a refund--I was promised one September 19. They tell me it was sent by certified mail. I've been on the phone with USPS, and they tell me that certified mail cannot be tracked.

After waiting almost a month and trying to track down the check, I asked on October 17th that the check be reissued. I have repeated the request on several occasions. No one responds to me at this point.

I want my $205 refund.
