Complaint Review: Bruce Johnson hiring manager - Wrap your car for Gatorade

Mistakenly deposited a check from this company. Luckily my bank caught it. It was a bad cashier's check sent to me. Now my checking account has alerts on everything deposited. The bank informed me that usually they would close my account and refuse to let me do business with them anymore for falling for something like this. I googled the bank that issued the check and it was a real bank. Apparently, I should have called that bank to ensure it was real. It wasn't. I received phone texts and emails from a Bruce Johnson. Here is what he claimed: Bruce Johnson to me Thanks for the quick response. We are pleased to confirm your status as our brand representative. A payment package will be mailed out to you in a short notice. The payment will include your compensation for the AD run and that of the decal specialist. Note that the wrapping of the car will be done at your residence and does not take long and you could be present while the wrap is done. Do acknowledge you have received this email and we will be in touch with further updates at the best time possible. You will be compensated with $500.00 per week which is essentially a "rental" payment for letting our company use the space. No fee is required from you, Gatorade® shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car. Adequate arrangements will be made as regards payment prior to making the AD visible on your car. It is very easy and simple with no application fees required, we look forward to reading from you soon.
