We purchased an adorable pony from Mandy aka Amanda Brummel. She said that she bought him for over 2K which was a lie. I bought him for 2.5K but she ripped me off because he is sickly, and founders each year. Mandy Brummel knew he foundered and had Cushings Disease and BOUGHT HIM AT AN AUCTION FOR DIRT CHEAP BECAUSE HE WAS SICKLY.

She is a chronic liar. I would never by a horse from he and have heard that she does business with KILL DEALERS. I am not surprised.

Amanda has always done business at the auctions, and has sold to kill buyers, too.

Amanda or Mandy as a first name.  Last names include McDougall, Manown, Manow, Matricciani, Forbes, Seiler.  She also uses her daughter for a name to sell by, which is Ashlen Forbes.  Her business names have changed many times as well:  Happy on Hooves, Your Next Horse, Thoroughbred Prospects, Brummel Horse Farm, and more.  She also has left a wake of unpaid barn owners behind, including several barns that she was evicted from in Maryland and one in Pennsylvania (Hanover Equestrian Center).

Just do a ripoffreport search on every name, barn, and business name above, and you will see just that she just recently (as in the last month) was evicted from Brummel Horse Farm for non-payment and she also left with more than one person's pre-paid lesson money.  She has also, once again, changed her business name (thought she said that she would not do that again).

For every report, she has her family and friends come on and post fake positive replies.

Did your veterinarian miss that when you had the pony examined before the sale?
