This dentist and his wife Judith Rerucha-Oeth are con artist. They offered to perform services for my daughter after hours in the office. She was only suppose to get a crown put on a root canal that had been previously done by another dentist. One single crown.... because I have no dental insurance for other services.

He did the crown and kept my daughter in the office doing 3 and 1/2 hours of procedures and dental work on her without even calling me or my daughters father for any time of authorization. Then after the procedures were completed....

His wife informed me that the back billed my ex-husbands dental insurance company for previous month and committed insurance fraud so they could maximize their profit from the insurance company illegally. They knew I did not have the cash for those services and assumed I would be ok with the illegal way they were gaining their money!!!

I had no clue they were doing anything other than the one crown, I had to call the wife on her cell to find out if my daughter was ok, because she had been gone for several hours. Her response was that Bryan was doing me a favor and fixing all of her teeth... then a few days later I was informed about the insurance scam when I was discussing that I could not afford all that work.

Three months goes by and my daughter never received an itemized bill for services rendered, instead my ex husband received notice that the bill was $3500 and they were going to place it on his credit if not paid immediately.

These people are con artist, doing work on a child who has no idea the expenses that they were running up while she was in the dental chair, they never called either parent during services to get atleast a verbal authorization to do this amount of work ..... or to even inform the estimate of cost for what they were doing!!

This is why insurance is sooooooo expensive for the average person, because the fraud committed by the dentist and doctors taking advantage of their patients and insurance companies. And this dentist claims to be voted Dr.s choice by Time magazine....I wonder if Time Magazine bothered to look into their billing procedures? So sad how the rich take advantage of the poor average people!

This complaint unfortunately  comes from a tenant that rented a home from us.

We gave her two free weeks of rent at time of move in as she had requested she would like to clean the house herself. We installed new flooring at her request for her comfort.  When she found out I was a dentist she expressed her concern for her 20 year old daughter's dental needs. I had her daughter come to the office for a cleaning and check up. She was in college and could only come to the office in the evening. I made special arrangements to treat her after hours as she was in a lot of pain and needed extensive work.

Out of the goodness of my heart I stayed into the evening with my assistant to complete the treatment and get her daughter out of pain. Services rendered were discounted due to her financial situation and only the treatments performed were sent to  her ex husbands  insurance company.  Her ex husband received the check from the insurance company and cashed it. At this time I had not received any form of payment for services rendered; and I was forced to send a letter of intent for payment of services rendered to her ex husband.  This was what she told me to do.

In the months to follow the tenant did not pay her rent.  Showing up at the property I found she had moved into the house next door without notice or payment for the month. The house was unclean. When I asked why she moved out; she said she had lost her job and could not afford her rent of $1,400 per month and that the neighbors next door had given her a free month and were renting the house  for $900 per month. She had signed a 2 year binding lease with us and had been there for 6 months.

I decided to release her from her contract; however I stated she would not be getting her security deposit  back for the month she did not pay and  the condition she left the home in. And by the Florida Statutes on rental properties she did not give proper notice of vacating. Our attorney on retainer  advised us to sue. We did not want to cause more hardship on this individual.

Two weeks later we began getting slanderous text that she wanted her security deposit back or she would destroy my reputation. Many disturbing words were used and it went into the late evening. These accusations are totally false. If anyone has a complaint of this nature they should be required to state their name as innocent, hard working businesses get affected by slanderous, dishonest, unsubstantiated information.
