One Homeowner's horrific experience over 2 years in dealing with Brymon Services Inc. and Gerald "Steve" Waldron (President):

* Brymon Services Inc. began work on February 2007. Brymon's quote for house project remodeling was estimated to take no more than 6 months effort (completion date spec'd for November 2007).
* From February - May 2007, Brymon Services' worked at a slow pace. Brymon Services Inc. President, Steve Waldron Sr. assigned his son as GC for the job (Steven Waldron Jr.). Steve Waldron Sr. hired a lot of "Subcontractors" for the house project work - plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc. Many rotations of different subs for each task. Homeowner always had difficulty contacting Steve Waldron Sr. (never answered phone calls; voice mail always full). However, that Steve Waldron Sr. "always" remembered to show up at the house each month with his monthly invoice and request for check payment.
* In June 2007, Steven Waldron Jr. left job to pursue his own business in landscaping. Project continued to suffer with different GC leads and no task completion.
* From July - September 2007, Steve Waldron Sr. took over as GC for the house project. The homeowner continued to press issues with Brymon Services, and experienced extreme difficulties in getting Steve Waldron Sr. to return phone calls for status checks. Steve Waldron Sr. kept insisting the project would get finished and not to worry. Steve Waldron continued to only show up at house with monthly invoice to request check payment.
* By November 2007, the contract deadline for house completion was not finished. Homeowner complained to Steve Waldron (President). Waldron assigned a new GC, Mark Jackson. Homeowner demanded new time line and stipulated need for house project completion by NLT Jan 2008. Waldron was now routinely "not returning homeowner" phone calls (this habit became par for the course in dealing with Brymon Services Inc.).
* December 2007 - Brymon Services continued to not perform work at the house site. Brymon Services staff (Mark Jackson and company) never showed up to complete any tasks at house. Steve Waldron continued to send homeowner his monthly invoice and said "work could not get done without a few more payments."
* By January 2008 - homeowner was frustrated, disappointed, and angry with Steve Waldron and Brymon Services. Homeowner reiterated the stipulation and deadline in Contract to be complete by NLT Jan 2008. Brymon appointed new GC Lead, "Gene" - house project "appeared" on the surface to be moving forward at fast pace. Tasks to be completed included passing insulation, plumbing, electrical, mechanical permit inspections.
* Through January and February 2008, Brymon began to not show up at the job site. New GC, Gene, quit the project (complained that Steve Waldron was not paying him). Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical were left incomplete. House was in disastrous consdition. Steve Waldron promised homeowner that the house would get done on time, but might cost a bit more than anticipated....
* In March 2008, the house project was not complete. Homeowner forced to legal council dealings with Brymon Services and incomplete contract project.
* From April - June 2008, homeowner demanded all house purchases be delivered from Brymon Services' storage to homeowner house (e.g., appliances, windows, etc. - all products purchased by homeowner previously, but never installed by Brymon Services). Homeowner demanded that Mark Jackson and Steve Waldron provide punch list of all tasks not completed. More delays from Brymon Services.
* In July 2008, Mark Jackson (GC, Brymon Services) told homeowner that he was "planning to leave Brymon Services" - Jackson said Brymon Services were bankrupt, he had not been paid for weeks, he felt terrible about all homeowners left "high-and-dry" because of Steve Waldron's lack of business and workmanship. Jackson said Steve lost his license in January 2008, and since then Brymon Services had suffered with financial problems. Jaskson said that Brymon Services staff were bitter with Steve Waldron Sr. - since he had recently sold his house in Leesburg, VA and purchased a brand new home in Woodbridge, VA worth $2M and yacht - however, Waldron refused to pay his staff....some subs were seeking liens on him, and many staff quit. Jackson said Steve Waldron had been "cheating the system" by using Subcontractors to get around the "license revocation" issue (apparently, this was the reason Steve Waldron never went "on house project sites" - since Steve Waldron and Brymon Services' license was revoked in January 2008). Mark Jackson said he had planned to help 4 homeowners (in similar bad situations due to Brymon Services) get through their projects and pass inspections before he left Brymon Services.
* By August 2008, Mark Jackson proved to be a liar and thief as well. Mark Jackson "never" left Brymon Services Inc. Homeowners later learned that this is Jackson's "role" in the Brymon Services "game of ripping off homeowners." Jackson told homeowners that he had passed their house inspections "with flying colors" - but, Jackson lied to each homeowner - he failed all the house inspections required - thus, leaving homeowners with incomplete house projects, failed inspections, and future headaches to complete projects.
* From September - December 2008, one homeowner sought a new contractor to help fix and complete the mess Brymon Services left behind (30% of project left incomplete; 75% of project in question of quality workmanship) - in order to pass inspections and gain occupancy permit.
* In December 2008, homeowner experienced an enormous plumbing disaster - hidden since January 2008 and due to Brymon Services faulty plumber and mechanical workmanship. Homeowner was forced into "demolition" and "remediation" and "rebuild" for losses due to water and mold damage of faulty plumbing, mechanical, and electrical all caused from Brymon Services pathetic business practice.

As of January 2009 - Beware:
* Brymon Services Inc. and Steve Waldron may be using a pseudo Contract Company name since license was revoked.
* Northern Virginian Dealers and Contractor Supply shops will no longer work with Steve Waldron, Mark Jackson or Brymon Services Inc. since they do not pay their bills or accounts.
