I was instructed not to speak with the home owner regarding my safety concerns. He moved structural load bearing walls on the bottom floor and refused to have any of the work inspected. I was also concerned about a moisture problem in the foundation. I was told "Don't worry about it, just put the wood floors down". When I finally went to the home owner and expressed my concerns and the lack of permits and inspections, as well as using sub-par materials, I was told by Bill that he was fired and I would not be getting paid. I drove by the house a week later and he had a different crew working. He fired me because I called him out on the quality of work, and because I expressed my concerns to the home owner; even though Bill Woodfin had repeatedly told me to "just keep quiet".
