Complaint Review: Buchbinder Car Rental

Think carefully before booking a car from Buchbinder

I rented a car through Buchbinder and their booking confirmation stated that they will supply a VW Golf Variant or similar. The car that I received turned out to be a Dacia Logan with a 900 cc naturally aspirated engine. Besides having four wheels and a steering wheel, it can in no way be regarded as similar to a VW Golf.

Buchbinder’s response was that they believe that what I received was equivalent and fair. I believe they have not been transparent at all. I certainly would not have accepted their offer had I known i would receive a 900 cc Dacia. So, if one is prepared to take pot luck about which car one is likely to receive, then by all means book with Buchbinder. Ironically, their slogan is:
