Budget Brakes, Charlott AVE Nashville TN 37209 Not Honorable, Denied Guarantee, Rude Nashville Tennessee
On 6/29/2016, I went to Budget Brakes at 5345 Charlotte AVE for because my front brakes were squelling. The attendant told me I needed brake pads and rotors. In addition he stated I needed rear brake pads. I ask about the warrantty. He said lifetime warrantty on the pads. So I told him to do the work. Even though his price was very high.
After getting my car from the shop and paying he repeated the warrantty. After 3 weeks the brakes were squeaking badly. I took the car back to Budget Brakes. They examine the brakes and told me ewverything was fine.
On September 9, 2016 after getting my tires rotated at NTB, the mechanic told me I needed brak pads in the front. I went to Budget Brakes for my guarantee. First I told the attendant I need brakes and he said you don't need brakes, I know. This where the manager got really rude. He told me he would honor the guarantee if I paid $140 for extra things needed to honor the guarantee. I told him I did not need the extra parts he suggested. He shouted," You don't tell me what you need. I am the expert and I tell you what you need. I did not want to get into a shouting match with him so I just said nothing.
They did not honor the guarantee. I think they were trying to take advantage again since I am a senior citizen.I had just paid $453.31 for brakes and rotors 2 1/2 months ago.
They are not professional by an means.
