I went on line to reserve an intermediate 2-4 door, automatic, air-conditioned car to drive from Altamonte Springs, Fl to Atlanta, GA for a business meeting. My confirmation on line showed I would receive a Pontiac G6 Base vehicle. When I arrived, the alternate vehicle was a VW Beetle, there were no other vehicles available, I was told that according to the dealers list the VW was an intermediate vehicle. Being a business woman, 5'3", 200 LB, I had to take the vehicle and proceed on to my meeting, 445 miles one way. I can not believe that the auto rental agencies would list a VW Beetle as an intermediate vehicle.

My questions upon returning the vehicle washed, full of gas and vacuumed out were not answered. When I asked again how this vehicle could be listed as an intermediate vehicle Victor from the Xavier, Inc who independently operates Budget stated: he did not know it was on his paperwork. If a VW Beetle, 2.5 Ltr, 2-door is an intermediate then what is a compact?
