I arrived at the Fresno Airport Budget at 8 am. Upon arrival I gave the confirmation number to the
employee. They stated it would be a minute or two for the vehicle to be moved to the pickup area, which was supposed to happen at 8:48.

They informed me that I should wait near the counter area until they were notified the vehicle had arrived at the designated pick up area. On two separate occasions I returned to the window to check on the status of the vehicle.

Each time I had to wait in line and was told it would be a few more moments and it would be ready...
After nearly an hour (9:45am) they told me to walk to the pickup area and it would be there waiting for me. After arriving at the pickup area I waited approximately five minutes for the vehicle to show up, when no one arrived I returned to the counter to inquire about the vehicle, now the third time.

At 10:05am I left the counter the second time and the vehicle was at! the pickup area... The vehicle was not the same as I requested online when I made my reservation. Also, the interior was dirty and it did not appear to even be vacuumed. Through our entire drive there was a noise coming from the left front wheel area because the hubcap was attached with two zip ties! The following day I called the customer relations number and the representative said a report would be made to the store manager and the issue would be discussed when I dropped off the car.

I dropped off the car a day early on 2/27/02 at 7:40pm. I paid for the full four days but returned the vehicle after three days. There was no apology or any mention of the incident... I contacted the corporate office on the 5th of March and I was told Toni would send out a coupon for 10% off (which I never received). I asked that this matter be transfered to a manger and I never received a reply..
