I have never been so embarrassed and humililated as when I boarded a dear friend from abroad at this Dallas location of Budget Suites of America.  I thought it would be ideal for an 11 day stay with a microwave, full-size refrigerator and stove top and promptly prepaid for a 2 week stay.  I have enough household supplies and linens to furnish the kitchen and the bedroom.

I will be disposing of everything I contributed to the room on the advice of my guest.  He informed me of continued ROACH infestation despite repeated complaints to the front desk.  He does not dare use the kitchen for fear of incurring additional insect co-habitation.  This guest is unable to even watch the T.V. because of the sickening sight of roaches skittering across the television screen continously.  And, he is afraid of the possible roach contamination of my own home, where he has not spyed even one roach on his many visits, if I bring anything back home.

The embarrasment is overwhelming.  Adding insult to injury, the front desk called my guest on a Sunday morning to inform him that he was required to present himself before noon to pay for the coming week.  Both my guest and myself visited the front desk to present them the receipt showing payment for 2 weeks.  No apology was offered for this inconvience nor any further instructions.  That evening, I dropped off my guest and wait and to see him safely into his room.  He was locked out and unable to access his room or belongings.

Again, I had to visit the front desk that following morning where I was informed it was my fault my guest had been locked out because I had not verified that the electronic key was properly calibrated to reflect my payment for 2 weeks' stay.  And my request/demand for a prorated refund reflecting the wrongly denied room access was flatly refused by the manager Aline Johnson.

Did I mention how the clerk, Jessica, tried to overcharge me at the intital room rental?  Please, spare yourself.  Stay anywhere else but here.  Or be prepared to be over run by roaches and rudeness.  And you WILL be too embarrassed to allow anyone to visit you in your room.

UUUghhh....NASTY!
