I purchased Sentricon baiting system from BugHouse, who claimed to be a professional company with professional service technicians. The guy that came out to my home had his shirt pulled out, and kept a cell phone in his ear. he said his name was Kevin Neese. He busted my water line while drilling around my house. It took him 2 days to properly fix my water line. The office and the technician acted like this was no big deal. Dennis Mitchell was very rude to me on the phone. He said that they were very busy at the time. I guess they were running around fixing things they broke at other places.

I've had this so called state of the art system for about a year now. Kevin also checks it. I never answer the door, because I wanted to observe. I have 42 stations around my house. He checked it in 5 minutes. Never broke a swet. I see him do several of my neighbors the same way. He also was suppose to go under my house to check for signs of termites. Dennis Mitchell and Kevin both swear that he did, however, they can't explain how he did it when I have the crawl space door pad locked.

Termites did about $1000.00 worth of damage to my home. Now BugHouse is trying to get out of paying for it even though I have a damage contract.

I have never seen or dealt with such a unproffesional company like this before. The office workers seem to not have time to talk to me. The manager, Dennis Mitchell, does not seem interested in helping in any way, and their so called service technicians don't seem too sure about what they are talking about.

My advice to anyone needing Pest/Termite Control to stay away from Bughouse. Unless you don't care about your home, and love to flush money down your toilet.

I just thought that i would point out this persons writing style i think that Johnny and Bob are the same ppl so it may be that its a disgruntal employee. Beside what kind of prude a*s would not open the door and want to sit in and peek out the windows at a person doing their job and if the crawlspace was padlocked how did this customer expect the tech to do his job properly. I am not a pest tech nor do i work for a company that is but i do have a little bit of common sense. If u want a job dont right do all u can to assist ppl (unlock the padlock a*s) and give them the oppertunity to make u a satisfied customer.

Why is there no report filed with the BBB?

I've worked for another company before Bug House and can say that any problems handled through the BBB were resolved with each company. If this claim were true, then why not let it be resolved through the BBB. Anyone can come on this website and bash any company, including former employees. I could write many things about my former employer, but why throw them under the bus? They gave me a job that paid me for the job I did, but I did not like to be micro-managed when I sold nearly as much as the previous salesman did in the same territory, who happened to be a 9 year veteran in the business. If a salesperson nearly matches the previous salesman, mind you , I did it within 1 year, you would think they would be happy. However, it was never good enough for the sales manager who also gave me grief about taking my 5 days of vacation for which the owner of the company knew I would take at the same time each year. I was told that I shouldnt leave without selling the 26K that was expected. I don't feel it was necessary to make me feel worthless and expect me to continue to strive to meet these goals any longer so I left and went to work for Bug House and things are much different here. I enjoy coming to work every day and I do my best for this company that does not put my feet to the fire every day. As you may have noticed, I did not mention the name of that company, I do not wish to harm their reputation or hurt their employees. They are successful managing their employees that way, but it did not work so well for me. As far as having termite damage, I have seen both have some degree of termite damage on the Sentricon system. However you must realize that there is no "silver bullet" when it comes to termite treatments. This is why you treat your home with Sentricon or Termidor, is to have protection from the damage termites cause. It's much better than the alternative, which is to have nothing at all. I have seen one damage claim since I started in August, and we are making the repairs. I have also seen damage with my previous employer on 7 homes and businesses for which they made the repairs. Also there are some poeple that believe that when they find any damage after treatment that the damage was done after treatment. Many times the damage was done prior to treating, but old termite tunnels could not be seen inside the walls or in the voids in the block foundation. To the untrained eye it is assumed it is new damage when in fact it is not. If this is an actual claim, I believe we would have handled it correctly or this individual would have filed a claim through the BBB.
