BullFrog Builders Dino Andreakos They remodeled my house installed windows that leak cold air in, the two basement doors are leaking cold air in the basement, they was payed to close the hole near the roof and they didn't and now squ College Point, New York
On Feb 2011 Dino Anreakos came to my home for a sit down to discuss on remodeling my 3 Family home. My sister and I told him we wanted all new wiring, plumbing, waste lines and the house well insulated through out the house and give the unattach wall special attention, dont use the standard insulation for that wall, use the next R rated insulation and we wanted two sinks in every bathroom. That was understood by Dino. Well he tried to pass on one sink to each bathroom but, i caught the installer trying to install one sink and stopped him.
then the work stop at my house for a little over a month by BullFrog builders i believe because they was trying to teach me a lesson for stopping their crew. he gave me a reason for stopping but i dont believe it, so i hade to install the remaining double sinks myself and told them to do the other work, they installed insulation only on the unattached wall and front and back of the house and none in the ceilings, only the third floor ceiling and now the house stay cold. One hour after the house is heated, its cold again. they have caused the following at my house.
all twenty new vinyl windows leak in cold air,my house is experiencing the (Chimney Effect) that is cold air is coming in from the basement and passing behind all the walls, and pouring in from the floor mouldings on every floor thats why the house stay cold. I had two independant insulation installers do a thermal reading of the entire house and they showed large volume of air is coming in from all the windows and from under the floor mouldings and because the windows weren't insulated properly, air is passing by the windows and entering from under the sheetrock, under the floor moulding. The only way to stay warm in the house is to keep the boiler on 24x7 and thats un heard of. we have told Dino this and he is not doing anything about it.
He says he never do ceilings and they never had a problem with these windows. We told him no cheap windows and to insulate the whole house, he was payed to do what we want. There is other unfinish work at my house that they are taking there time to finish. One last thing, they dont know i know what else they did to my house, they put scrap material in the walls of my basement. Now why would they do that. We was supose to be back in our home Sept 2011, its now Jan. 9, 2012 and my sister is paying for storage. He has ruin our Christmas and New Years, All my sisters winter cloths are in storage and we can't get to it now . She has to wear my winter coat and hat to stay warm. BuildFrog Builders has disrupted my entire family and he is still taking his time with fixing the problem at my house.

I am a 62 year old African American, retired woman unable to move back into my 3-family home because the contractor (Bullfrog Builders) that I hired to renovate my home refused to fix his mistakes and complete the remainder of the job in a timely manner. The work started May 2011 and was to end September 2011. I am walking the streets in summer clothing because all of my winter clothing and household items are in storage and I am unable to get to the storage boxes. Thank God, I have a place to stay (my brother). A work slow down by Dinos workmen started the end of August 2011 and continued into November 2011. Workmen were not coming to the house on a daily schedule, and the site supervisor, Jimmy, was removed. Since Jimmy had the house keys, I had to be there to let the workmen in to finished projects. I call the office and asked for an explanation. The excuse given was that they (Bullfrog Builders) were having problems reattaching the radiators. I asked Dino Andreakos, contractor if other work could be completed (hallway or basement) and I was told no by Dino. He said that the hallway and the basement would be the last things to be completed. The radiators were finally connected and I was able to turn on the furnace. The heat came on, but the house was cold one hours later. I sent the heat up a second time during the afternoon and the same thing happened. The house was not holding the heat. The windows are leaking cold air and the cold air is blowing up from under the sheetrock. The insulation was poorly installed, Dino did not insulate all walls and ceilings; and the entire 3-family home stays cold even after the house is heated. My furnace was on and working. My house was so cold; its like sitting in a car without the heater on. I complained so much, that Dino called and told me NOT to call to harass his secretary. For the remainder of the year, I spent days waiting for NO SHOW workmen to show up to fix their messed up work. Dino is threatening to sue and put a lien on my home if I do not pay him the remainder of the balance. For every month that I am unable to move back home, I am paying $475.00 a month for storage.
The following items are problems:
1) Water under newly laid roof, not installed properly.
2) Electrical violations not removed by inspector.
3) Holes on roof and alone side of the building not repaired.
4) Family of squirrels live in crawl space between 3rd floor and roof due to holes on side of building not repaired.
5) Basement floor and vestibule not tiled.
6) Hallway not finished.
7) Drafty windows due to poor installation.
8) Insufficient insulation throughout the house. Its too cold to spend the night.
9) Newly installed gas lines, but unable to hook up stove for cooking.
10) Unable to move back due to fine construction dust throughout the hours.
11) Basement doors leak cold air.
12) Workmen put scrap material and old pipes behind newly erected basement walls.
13) Gave contractor a deposit for additional kitchens cabinets for 1st and 2nd floors. I have not seen the cabinets it seems that he just took the money and never ordered the cabinets.
I gave Bullfrog Builders ample time to fix the messed up work and to finish the basement and the hallway. The balance is not enough to fix the major issues that he has left behind.
Two weeks before Christmas, I went to the house and saw workmen working on the hallway and who promised to return the week before Christmas to finish. They were NO SHOWS. On December 20, 2011 I emailed and sent a certified letter to Dino at Bullfrog Builders listing all the items that needed to be done. On Monday, December 26, 2011, I went on line and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The electrician can out to my home on December 27, 2011 to fix problems dating back to July 2011 and electrical violations dated November 21, 2011 letter from the Buildings Department. The BBB complaint reached Dino by Thursday, December 29, 2011. Dino Andreakos, contractor, sent a threatening text message a week after Christmas and made threatening call Monday, Jan 9, 2012. He said that he would sue me to my head spins and would put a lien on my property. The workman returned Monday, January 9, 2012 to do some work on the hallway and promised to return the next day. He did not show up for Tuesday, January 10, 2012.
I want all of these problems resolved.

Well it didn't take long for Mr, dino to read what i wrote. Now he and the BullFrog Corporation is threaten to sue me until my head spin off and all i am doing is speaking up for my sister who use some of her savings to help remodel her house. My sister dream about doing this for over 15 years and now she is retired and able to do the remodeling and i am happy for her, well my girl needs me with my head on if you please. Stop threaten me and get my sister back into her house, its cold in her house, there is unfinish business and construction dust is preventing her from entering her own home. Whats more important threatening her brother, or getting my sister who never hurt anyone in her life back into her house. I love my sister very much, what brother wouldn't stand up for his sister. Send all your people to her house and fix the problem and stop threatening to drive me crazy with a court battle. I am not the issue here, its my dear sister.
