Complaint Review: Bumpside Treasures LLC Joseph Thompson

I wanted a fair amount of restoration work done to my beloved 1967 Ford F250 4 wheel drive truck. I bought some eBay parts from him with no issues. I contacted him for work on my truck. We spoke a few times, he was an arrogant know it all. He is the best there ever was, just ask him. Self proclaimed Ford expert. Well Fine, mechanic types can be like that. I haul my truck on my trailer 2 hours to his shop. 1st thought was I got catfished. Dump of a shop if you want to call it that, junk everywhere, and hate speech anti gay stickers on his business sign. Yes, I was apprehensive but really wanted my truck fixed up. Very insecure guy, I would call it small man’s syndrome. Yep, I’m a dummy and left my truck there. 22k and a few months later leading to arguments about quality of work, inflated pricing after phone agreement left me heartbroken about my truck. I’m just glad I got my truck back, most of his "work” had to be re-done. He is always in financial trouble, very obvious from his living/working situation so a total waste of time to file a lawsuit . I found other lawsuits that lead to plaintiff judgement against him with no payment.

Surprised in this day to see hate speech and rhetoric all over his place of business and verbal communication. This guy is no expert, he plagiarizes info he reads to gain credibility. Fake it till you make it mentality, except the make it part is lackluster.
