I purchased 3 handbags from this online store who told me through a chat session several times that all items were authentic. "100% authentic, we guarantee it."
I thought the bags I was ordering were coming from the UK. A day after I paid for the bags I received a shipping confirmation that the bags were coming from China. At first I was bothered, but I had read that Burberry bags are made in China, so I just hoped that this was the situation.
About ten days later, this box which was have smashed in landed on my front porch. This box which was a little larger than a boot box was holding the 3 handbags which had been folded about 5 times each. They were the most poorly made fakes I had ever seen. The dustbags looked and felt like tissue paper, and the lining had the name Burberrys on it. There is no s! LOL. The hardware was bendable and I haven't gone near them since.
I tried to email the store and couldn't find the site. I was able to track them down through EMS. I wrote them and email and threatened to have them arrested, shut down, etc. I am still awaiting my refund which they said would take 20 business days. Yeah right. They are probably selling more fakes to come up with it.
I have since been looking into these sites and man, the majority are just plain fakes. Their wording is such on some that I think they can get away with it. Such a shame.....
