I have visited this location MANY times, as it is the only Burger King in St. Catharines. I'd estimate 80% of the time my order is screwed up. We always order any burgers with no onions. (allergies) This should not be difficult but it seems to be a concept they cannot grasp.

MANY of the times I have gone back to have my order fixed and have been treated VERY rudely by a manager named Alexis. I have been called a b***h and a c*nt for asking her to fix my order. On one occasion the owner (John) came out and told me to "grow the f*ck up and eat the d**n burger" knowing full well that it would send me to the hospital if I ate it with onions (as I had informed him of this when I asked to replace the burger)

Other times, I have only called in and was told that coupons to replace the order would be sent to my address. No such coupons EVER arrived (I am owed about 10 whoppers from them at this point that were never eaten and never replaced)

On one occasion (on December 24, 2008) I had called to let them know that my fiance would be returning to fix the order and that on top of the replacement we would like some sort of compensation. The owner said that would be no problem he would replace it and give us coupons for a couple free whoppers.

My fiance went and had the money he paid literally thrown back at him (he had to pick it up off the floor) by Alexis. (When he counted this money at home he realized they had short changed him $3.) He said he just wanted the order replaced and she refused.

I called back another time when my fiance got home and, again, spoke to the owner. This time I was told that my fiance was a liar and he was the one who demanded the money back. Which makes no sense if you new how hungry we were. It was VERY hard to get a word in because he was trying to refuse to let me talk and becoming more and more hostile towards me.

Before hanging up on me he called me a "b*tch" and, once again, told me to "grow the f*ck up and learn some manners"

For some strange reason, he decided to call ME back and yell at me some more. He was yelling at me so much that I ended up in tears and was shaking I was so upset. He heard me crying and called me a cry baby. He also said, and I quote, "your fiance is a liar, he's probably cheating on you too cause he's sick of f*cking a stupid c*nt like you".

This is when I told him that if he called me one more time I would call the cops because he is harassing me. I haven't heard back, nor have I returned to that restaurant since.

As well, every time I have previously been in there and he is not, the employees are always talking about how horribly he (and this Alexis manager) treat them. I don't doubt this for one bit. If they are willing to treat a paying customer (who comes in at least once a week, sometimes more) the way they treated me, this is not a business I would ever let anyone I know work for.

Although this report is entertaining to read, it is a bit of an embellishment. Scratch that, it is almost so incorrect that it is mythical. I used to be employed at this restaurant and I was working on this very day. I know that it was a while ago but I definitely would not forget an exciting shift as such.

What the story teller says about being called names by Alexis is so very untrue that she should feel ashamed of herself for writing such lies. This woman is in her 60s and although she does not take people's sh*t, there is no way she would swear at a customer in any situation. As I recall the customer was the one who had an attitude and was swearing about the staff.  Her fiancee was also the one that demanded the money back and Alexis put it on the counter and a coin rolled off. This is because he did not get the food that he wanted for free and was pissed off. After learning this, the owner, talked to the customer when he called the store to complain again. From what I know the owner did NOT call him back, why would anyone do that!?? And he did not say those awful things regarding cheating.

And fun fact, like most fast food restaurants the staff consists of teenagers and older ladies, so to be irate over a mistake like having onions on your burger is a bit excessive.  Furthermore, the policy at the store is that if your order is made wrong and you leave the store, as long as you come back with your whole order in a reasonably short period of time, we would fix the problem for you and give you the right sandwich. Again these are teens working for minimum wage that can make up to 20 sandwiches in 10 minutes so it is reasonable to expect a mistake every once in a while. However if you leave the store and call later at night to say you were missing a sandwich, don't expect us to take your word for it. Many times people have tried to pull that on me when I know 100% that I gave them all of their food. So our policy is that if you call and complain about missing something you will have coupons mailed out to you. This helps prevent people from ripping the store off, like so many at McDonalds do.

After reading this report I was so angered that I had to make a profile just to rebuttal. The outright allegations are simply not true. The manager and the owner are very nice people and it was the best place that I have ever worked. I just took exception to this because it was the woman who was making the remarks about a lady in her 60s and a bunch of teens all because of onions. And I would like to note that this happens too much. When an order is messed up people freak out like they spent their life savings and not 2 bucks on the special of the day. Also there was no way the owner said those things. But I am sure he told them never to come back for talking to the staff like that. (and I bet he did not say it nicely lol)

The OP sounds like Alice aka Melissa aka Fajita girl from Orlando FL
I doubt that the employees at this establishment would call you the "c" word
I smell someone who complains to get free food
Good luck with that

Onion allergy?

I searched every online medical site I could find. The only info I could get was from some Vegan health site.

They claim an allergic reaction to onions is not fatal. In fact, it boils down to making the "victim" have digestion issues...farting from eating them.

Either take the onions off yourself, or just stop going there.

Assuming that this story is true...

Assuming that this story is 100% true (and I doubt it), then the best course of action for the OP is to vote with her money. If the restaurant cannot satisfy your needs, you go to one that can.

What your saying doesn't make sense. Sure I have come across some rude people, but to swear and cuss at people, they would be out of business by now. Actually, when the head office of that company found out that they treat people like that, they would "fire" those employees.

If they treated me like that, I would "never" go back there. I would contact their head office and complain.

Although I have dealt with some rude, obnoxious people before(even people in customer service), I have never been sworn at by someone working there.

If you're life literally depended on not having onions on you burgers I would recommend making your own.

I don't believe any of this.

Do you really expect the world to believe that these people have nothing better in life to do than insult you. I would really like to see what you did to them to get them to act in this fashion towards you.
If I were you I think I would find another business to frequent.

Than write a report about a Burger King? Are a glutton for punishment (or just onionless burgers)? Seriously, why would you continue to give these people your hard earned money after such continuous abuse? On the flip side, I seem to think your story isn't exactly true. I would LOVE to hear from Alexis - I'm sure she would have a very interesting story to tell about you.
