Complaint Review: Burke decor

Burke decor Paid for a roll of wallpaper nearly three months ago. Ignored multiple emails asking for refund and still have not received the wallpaper. Boardman Ohio

On April 2 2024 I ordered a roll of wallpaper from Burke Decor.  After a month or so passed I tried to email to find out the status of the order.  I received no response.  I then found a phone number online. No one took the call. They had an outgoing voicemail that basically said there were a high volume of calls and if you need help you have to email them.  It also rudely advised callers that multiple attempts to inquire about your purchase would only result in further delays.  It seemed pretty obvious that they were having problems. A quick google search confirmed this.

 There were other people who had the same experience as I did.  I finally received a curt email response that said the wallpaper would ship in July. July! I ordered it april 2.  I asked them to refund me immediately.  No response to the refund request.  I asked them by email two more times to refund me and even threatened better business bureau, rip off report and a credit card chargeback.  Still no response.  Yesterday I filed a credit card dispute and today I have notified BBB and filed this rip off report. I ordered the wallpaper from another company weeks ago and it arrived within a few days.  Do not do business with Burke Decor.  Shipping delays are one thing but the lack of communication nor refund makes them an unacceptable business to shop with.
