Burnasong.com - Touchnsurf.com - Burnasong.com - Touchnsurf.com - Burnasong.com - Touchnsurf.com - Burnasong.com - Touchnsurf.com - Shervin Rashti - Jacob kiosk music download and ringtone scam, fraud, and ripoff Beverly Hills California
On 07/21/2005, I sought after a business opportunity to earn extra income for my family. As a result, I researched business opportunities through the internet and landed on a site named touchnsurf.com. Touchnsurf, provided consumers with kiosk and software application that would allow people to surf the net at public location for a small fee. They were written up in kiosk magazines as winners of the best kiosk internet application. It seemed like a great opportunity, so I called the company and spoke to a Shervin Rashti. He appeared nice, trust worthy, and helpful when answering my question. After talking to him about the possibilities of the internet kiosk, he recommended a more attractive opportunity of another product they were offering called burnasong(kiosk). He said the kiosk allowed the consumer to download music and burn them onto a cd, as well as ringtones expected to arrived within a month.
Everything seemed to be going great following a series of question to Shervin and his partner, Jacob. I became pumped up with the ground floor opportunity and decided to make a purchase of a whopping $13,000 plus materials. It took several weeks before I received my kiosk but on the day I was to receive my shipment, I got a email from Shervin stating that the ringtones were not added yet but should be coming soon... After the kiosk arrived, he gave me the option of refusing the order. By this time I am hooked and excited to start making money on this wonderful idea and thought if I would refuse the order, I could be passing up a rare opportunity, boy was I wrong!
I opened the box as a little child would, eager to get started. The very first day of powering it up the kiosk, I had trouble with the application freezing or the hardware not dispensing the cd. Several calls to Jacob and Shervin and erveral problems later never resolved my issues. Frustrated with the lies and poor application, I decided it would be best to power down the kiosk and store it. Every so often, I would call to see if they had added the ringtones to the kiosk. Several months later, no ringtones; one year later, no ringtones; two years later, you won't believe the answer.
On the week of 02/24/2008, I placed several calls to burnasong to power up my kiosk at a new location to recover some of my losses. On or about 02/26/2008, Jacob answered the phone as burnasong. Now get this, I told him I wanted to put everything in the past with my unpleasant experience with them as I had placed the kiosk at a new location. His answer, "we are not in that business anymore, we are looking at a new business now". It felt like I had been robbed legally. With a lost for words, I asked so where does that leave me and is there another company they have that could supply the kiosk. His answer, "I don't know". I responded by asking, so what are they going to do about all that money I had lost. His reply, "nothing, we have lost millions and you only lost $13,000". I was surprised at his response and asked him what new business are they starting? He said, "we don't know yet but we are looking" Wow, did I smell a new scam! I asked him one last question before he hung up, I asked him what is their address. He said, "we don't have an address". I then told him that I am going to report him to the police for scamming me and he said, "do what you lhave to do" and hung up the phone on me. It gets better, when you call burnasong, the automated system says thank you for calling burnasong and prompts you to other departments including tech support. Both websites are still up and running on the internet: burnasong.com and touchnsurf.com. I believe this is so as a means to scam others.
Whats makes them seem even more like scam artist, I was never given notice that they were going out of business. At this pont I don't know what to believe but I hope ripoffreport.com can help me get my money back or provide a solution to my problem. Others should beware of these companies that are one in the same.
Now I am out of $13,000 and looking at pretty kiosk that is useless to me.

FAIR CHANCES GIVEN... COMPANY LOST
#3UPDATE Employee
Fri, June 13, 2008
I happen to have worked on the machine that Frank received and know have inside proof of the email that was sent to Frank at the time of this occurrence. As Mr. Lusk pointed out, he was given ample opportunity to return the merchandise, and decided not to on his own fruition. He is now coming back 3 years later, after the company has gone out of business putting up a complaint that has no merit, against individuals at that... Folllowing, please see the email that was sent to Mr. Lusk immediately upon shipment.
Dear Mr. Lusk:
It is with regret that I must inform you that our maintenance company has informed us that they will not be servicing the New Jersey area. This news came to us as a huge shock, and we are making efforts to hire and train another maintenance company for the same area. Additionally, we have been informed that the ringtone group is having some technical difficulties that may or may not effect the timeline of offering ringtones by next month. In light of the situation, I have a few options to help rectify this situation as outlined below.
1) Because the unit is designed in a plug and play fashion, we can walk you or any other computer literate individual through the light install process. This includes, configuring your internet connection (to the settings that were provided to us), telephone walk through to load the receipt paper and the disc ink cartridges, and a complete working test burn. To alleviate your troubles, we will be willing to credit you 6 months of NOC services, and return the installation costs that you have paid to you.
or
2) We will gladly take back the kiosk for a full refund at your choosing. However, should you decide to do this, we will need to know prior to the unit being opened or delivered. Please let us know ASAP if this is the route you wish to take.
I'm sure you will have questions about the above to discuss. I am here at your leisure to discuss. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you; but you must understand that this matter was really out of our control.
Kind regards,
I RECOMMEND YOU REMOVE THIS POSTING, AS IT IS CREATING DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER ON INDIVIDUALS.
