Bush Motor Express seemed to be at first the light at the end of a very dark and dingy tunnel. It turned out to be more like the light from an oncoming freight train.

I was told upon being hired by Bush that I would bring home at least $1000.00/week. Like most places that lasted for the first two weeks I drove for them. I am lucky now if I make half of that.

Throughout the last 10 months, I have also been asked multiple times to make runs without logging them in order to facilitate other runs that were over booked. I have also been asked to put a KW T600 with a sleeper and 53 foot trailer in places throughout downtown Chicago, IL. Places this truck has no business being. One place I was dispatched to refused the load due to the size of my truck/trailer and as a bonus I got stuck upon leaving. For some reason my dispatcher decided this was my fault.

Bush also likes to put band-aids on maintenance issues and then scold the driver when it causes a break down. They also deduct tolls incurred after 50.00 has been used on the I-Pass for IL Tollways. They want their freight picked up and delivered as quick as possible, but won't pay tolls for hauling their own frieght.

To slander a company with no hard evidence is unfair. If an ex employee had or has a complaint they should take it up with the employer. But to slander us on the internet is considered a coward.

Most of our drivers make any where from $800 to $1300 per week. We can't help it if a driver needs to be home at night and on weekends so their spouse can work. Any driver in the world knows that if they expect to make any money being a truck driver than they need to be willing to work nights and weekends.

Bush Motor Express has never asked anyone to run illegally. That would be against DOT regulations. All trucking companies are subject to DOT and randomly audited. To not log at all would be a huge fine through DOT, and we have no fines.

Being in Rockford, Illinois we are just outside of Chicago. I find it humorous that this driver has a problem with getting in and out of Chicago when every other driver around here can do it. But then again I guess when you are not originally from this area that would be pretty hard for an inexperienced driver to manuveur in and out of.

As far as our maintenance issues, all drivers for any trucking company, are to do a pre-trip inspection at the beginning of every day. If there are any issues they are to report it to dispatch. It is hard for any dispatcher to fix anything, unless told about it, when they are not the one driving the truck. Our equipment is serviced every 30,000 miles and kept maintained....we just purchased 4 new trucks this year to update our equipment. But, then again it's very hard to keep on the equipment when the driver is constantly getting into fender benders and not making us aware of it.

Yes, we do only allow our drivers $50.00 in toll money every month. Every driver is aware of it and also signs a contract on this before they even start. I'm sure that every trucking company out there can agree with this because this helps us keep cost down here and also helps with controlling the drivers from running out of route. But we also will aprove more money if they have to run the toll road to keep on time for a delivery.

So you see that in response to this report....we have an ex employee who is obviously disgruntled and trying to slander us. A decent person would've have brought these complaints to us personally instead of trying to get back at us by using the internet.
