Complaint Review: Business Development Institute

Business Development Institute aka USA Search Engine Optimization contacted me in april of 08 offering front page exposure for my failing Construction Business, I told them I didnt have the money at that time. They convinced me that given post dated checks , I would get the exposure , calls , and business to cover . I didnt recieve 1 single ad call. The checks went thru NSF .

They contacted me a second time restructuring the payment set up with two more postdated checks and also provide a courtesy listing (free) with Yellow pages.com. Yellow Pages.com contacts me and upsells from free to $300 a month, in his words "Free wont get any exposure" Samantha from BDI contacts me and Im very distraught with whole situation She indicates she will handle it. They had asked me if I had a website and I told them I thought so but not sure .

Some time passed and my Identity and email addresses got hacked into by an ex employee. Next I get threatening calls from BDI on all the checks including the first arraingement. They state they drove all this traffic to a website ( Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) which has nothing to do with my business. I didnt recieve 1 phone call and now they have turned this over to the Nevada Clark county Prosecutor for check fraud with a warrant for my arrest. When I have spent money for advertising in the Dex Yellow pages I spend money and they dont require me to know where to put the ad or distribute phone books , why should BDI expect payment for not getting 1 call after their efforts. After all they contacted me!
