business-in-a-box.com Biztree Inc. Purchased a lifetime package in 2011 with no additional charges ever, they upgrade the software, it cant be used, and surprise you have to pay again to get it working. Brossard, Quebec

I'm sorry but I cannot help you further. I've tested the whole process on my end and everything works perfectly. You would need to purchase an upgrade if you wish to have access to the newest version of the software, and the documents that were added since your purchase in 2011.
 
Since your last purchase, we have moved to a subscription model, with the added bonus of a Web version of Business-in-a-Box. However, for our existing clients only, we still offer the one time purchase version but it does not include the Web access.

I am sorry to bother you however everything you have sent is not working. I am now getting messages that the product key does not work for the 2016 version so i am lost.

Until you find your upgrade purchase, I can provide you with a version of Business-in-a-Box that has been successfully tested on the latest operating systems, and will work with your product key. If you are experiencing technical issues, we suggest your uninstall the software and reinstall it.

Step 1 - Please close any Word or Excel documents that you might have open.

Step 2 - Download and install Business-in-a-Box by using one the following links:

  Download Business-in-a-Box 2013 for Mac

Step 3 - Copy the Product Key:

Step 4 - Access "Help" from Business-in-a-Box's top menu and then select "Activate Your Software".

Step 5 - Paste (do not type) your Product Key in the activation window and click on the “Activate” button.

P.S. Please note that your firewall may block Business-in-a-Box from accessing the Internet and that you may have to temporarily disable it to complete the activation.
