The real need for grant funding, especially for small businesses, has become more and more urgent, due to the inability to get low interest loans from the self serving banks.  This outfit, Business Marketing Professionals, has sprung up from nowhere and offers grant writing and research services under various names, names that seem to change every month!  It is however, harder to change the address, so look out for companies offering this scam.

This firm schmoozes the prospect with a come on, e.g. a "guaranteed"  grant of say, $50,000 for a payment (up front, of course) of "only" $499.00.  Do not fall for this.  Never pay for services up front.  There should be only one pay day for both - you get the grant, and then and only then does the "grant writer firm" get its money.

This fraudulent enterprise has many employees, currently a person who gave his name to me as "Jesse Salomon" and then a female who called herself "Janine".  My company has received three calls, always a different person, but a consistent message as outlined in the previous paragraph.  When I checked the address in Henderson NV on Rip-Off Reports my suspicions that this company consisted of a bunch of frauds was confirmed - I bet most of the Henderson Nevada reported rip-offs in Rip-Off Reports originated from these scurrilous folk!  Henderson NV is a real small town, and it is unlikely that a large grant funding operation is headquartered there, with up to twenty or thirty employees!

My warning is:  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!  KEEP YOUR PRECIOUS BUSINESS CAPITAL.  When the website is accessed, one has to enter a login and a password - I didn't bother.
