I had to write about Business Friend.  A friend of mine recommended it to me because the company was rolling out a beta testing platform and they had a competition to see who could recruit the most friends.  I did, and quite honestly the website plaform sucks and now no one is returning any of my emails so I can delete my account.

I gave the site a chance as it was recommended by a friend but after the first 2 minutes I was already bored with the look of it.  The visual prentation of the site is dull.  I just didnt see the point of Business Friend in todays market considering the industry is already flooded with larger, more repuatable services and platforms.

The video for Business Friend, (which is a complete rip off of so many other videos) states " I need a website where social networking leads to productivity".....Ummmmm...how about LinkedIn?, they've been doing it since 2002.  Or maybe another company out there that allows all types of people to connect socially and professionally, I think they call themselves Facebook....or wait...with BusinessFriend you can post short meesages or updates allowing everyone following you to know what your up too.....sort of like Twitter....hmmmm....

They bascially took a slew of ideas already long developed and combined it all.  I can't see Professionals, Colleges, students, using this as an alternative to what they already have in the first place.  BusinessFriend came about 12 years to late for the party.

I again love the company platform:

"Businessfriend provides members with the opportunity to meet contacts, collaborate, and communicate in an environment that melds social networking with software-like tools to conduct business online."

Meet Contacts like what Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pintrest, MySpace, Google Plus, DevianArt, Tagged, Orkut, Cafemom, Ning, Wikipedia, Digg, Yelp, already do.

This is a awful idea.
