Purchased Buslink 52x24x52 cd-rw drive on February 6, 2003 during lunch hour. Took it back to work, did the necessary paperwork (made copies, etc) and sent in the rebate *that day*.

After 3 months (supposed to wait 8-10 weeks), I started calling their rebate status phone number (extension 512) and *never* got an actual individual until around month 5. Filled out their online rebate status web page multiple times - no response.

After 6 months, I finally got hold of an individual (Adrianna) who gave me her direct dial number, 626-363-2527, but it did me no good because all she could tell me was what I had already heard a month before - that my claim was valid and it was in the final stages of processing. She offered me her supervisor (Robert Smith) to talk to. Over the next 5-7 days, I called daily (sometimes twice a day) and left all of my information including my cell phone number. No response from Mr. Smith.

I called again on August 19 and pressed 0 in order to get the operator. She insisted that I call back and talk to a rebate administrator when they were back from lunch (I was calling at 1:30 in the afternoon). I asked to speak to Robert Smith's boss, she replied that Robert Smith is the boss. I replied that Robert Smith doesn't own Buslink, therefore, he must have a boss. She hung up. I tried again, she hung up. I tried again, she hung up. Not once did I swear. Not once was I rude.

I just wanted a reply. So, here I am. I will *never* buy a Buslink product again and I urge you to avoid it as well.
