I met Butch of Butch's Amaco-BP at the Goodguys Car show in DesMoines,IA July 5,2009 and he had a 1960 Chevy Belair for sale, I had a 1946 GMC Pick-up and wanted to trade body for body ,only we keep each others tires and rims. we made a verbal contract to trade and a week later his tow truck showed up at my storage where I had my 46 stored and off went it with a note from Butch saying I will contact you later for the exchange of titles. I tried several times over the next few weeks to get in touch with him and got a message that he had lost the titles of the cars he brought to the car show and had to apply for duplicates. I have called and left messages probably 35 times if not more, I got a Bill of Sale form from the state and am forwarding it to his business work address with the hopes he will do his part and sign it. My only fear is that after reading all these complaints about his business practicies he does not legally own this vehicle or have clear title. I serve in the Army and have been to Iraq and it is very sad to know that I protect and serve so people like this can live free and do this to others?
