Buttermore & Associates/Paralegal Staff Support Fraud and Theft Pompano Beach, Florida
April 5th 2012 I entered into a contract with Christopher Buttermore Attorney-owner of Buttermore & Associates. I cancelled my contract within two because no one called me. Attorney Buttermore was suppossed to represent me and get my debts dismissed. Not only I haven't spoken to anyone, Jeremy Marcus-owner of Paralegal Staff Support took 412.03 out of my account on May 15 and June 15 2012. I received a judgement letter stating I am being sued. This is another reason for my cancellation. They took monies illegally out of my account even though I had cancell via 4 faxes to fax number 561 246 3019. This past Friday, June 15th 2012 that, these two companies Mr. Buttermore and Mr. Marcus was drafting my account for 412.03, I immediately called Meracord(3rd party) I then informed them that the monies was taking out of my account without my consent, that is FRAUD. I called Meracord again who then transfer me to their office and it was closed, even though their office hours are 9-4 on Fridays and I called minutes after 3. I left a message and no one returned the call. June 18th I spoke with Lena, who stated she would send Mr. Marcus an email regardinfg this matter. I then called Lena hours later and she stated that I was dialing the inncorrect number. She is lying to me and playing games. Mr. Marcus called me after my two calls to Lena. The first call he was very nasty, he threatened me, and told me I would never receive a refund. He then call me back to further threatened me. I am now in worst shape by dealing with these two 'scam artists' companies and Attorney.. I feel that this is normal for them and the way they do business. I am definitely going to escalate this with the Florida Bar and Attorney General.

There is no truth to this accusation.
This client wanted to go bankrupt and use a different firm. We were offering her an alternative to Bankruptcy.
At first she agreed to this alternative and then one month into this process she
called requesting her legal fees back from Buttermore. When she didnt get what
she wanted she decided to bash Buttermores name.
Bankruptcy is an option to consumers, however you must be aware that:
1.Your credit will destroyed for 7-10 years.
(-this affects jobs and insurance policies)
2. You must pass a means test
( income must be extremely low)
3. Assets will be looked at
by bankruptcy court and can be sold off.
4. Cost thousands.
5. Many times people think they are going to get a CH7 (complete elimination of debt) but later find out
that they dont qualify and are forced into a CH13 bankruptcy.
