Complaint Review: Buy a build LLC

  Buy A Build, LLC. Charged 39,000 and halfway through stated he couldn't work anymore unless another $8,000 was given to him up front and a new contract was signed. The amount and quality of work done inside the building doesn't equal anywhere near $39,000 they destroyed the floor and had an electrician who wasn't licensed doing the electrical. There's no junction boxes at all and some lights don't even turn off. The money we gave them for new toilets they kept they didn't even install new ones. They took off with parts of the lights in the ceiling so finishing is impossible now materials are missing pieces. Overspray all over the walls the floor and ceiling are now delaminating. The contractor won't give an itemized cost breakdown and is avoiding phone calls. And when they left the job site they stole cabinets, an HVAC system and two industrial sized exhaust fans as well as miscellaneous tools. The building is the American Legion Post in Ponchatoula which is a non-profit veterans organization and we were trying to remodel with what little insurance money we got out of hurricane Ida and this company ripped us and the community off and left the building a fire hazard.
