Worst customer support you can imagine. Everyone answering in their India center is powerless and brainless in nearly any situation where you need assistance.

One time I ordered 3 spindels of DVD-R's. Got 3 boxes worth, each had 4 inside. Tried to do the right thing and tell them, but they couldn't understand cause the system showed three shipped. Three tries later I get a UPS label and it's only allowing the weight of 2 spindels, not 2 boxes. So I kept the remainder and returned the two spindels.

If you do something wrong and want to cancel your order, it's a crapshoot whether it'll get processed correctly.

Now it gets real good.

I spend the better part of a year spending over $15K with them referring all my customers who I build computers and networks for on my Buy.com VISA. I built up about $450 which I used to build my own PC as mine was 3 years old. Never got the e-mail to activate one of the two gift certificates I asked for. Calling repeatedly does little good; third or fourth call results in them activating it for me show it shows in my account. This only happened when I had the credit card company conferenced in and we had a supervisor who had a slight intelligence advantage (still in India, though).

So I use these gift certificates, and by the time this is straightened out some of the items are out of stock. Three weeks later the backordered items ship, and they charge the credit card, even though I used the gift certificate! They got one item right (not charged), and a bunch wrong.

It is hard to tell on your statement what's what, but after reviewing with Quicken, we found the exact total that should have been applied to the certificate.

I spent hours and hours trying to reach people there who can help, and time after time get people who speak bad english and don't understand you and don't care.

Oh yea, with the above issues, I left 3 emails on their website and never got a reply or phone call. I also found that supervisors are only available in that India call center until 5p PST, after which it's a dead end. How bout that, spending your afternoon at work dealing with this?

Finally, my wife goes online and finds another number outside their 877-780-2464 that used to be on their website (can't find it anywhere anymore). It is their corporate office in CA, which appears to have some people who have some idea of what to do in these situations. I have had one of two credits I've asked for solved through this; am still waiting on the other after about 2 weeks.
