Complaint Review: BUY.COM & Inphonic.rebatestatus.com

REPS, IF YOUR READING THIS. I had the highest regards for BUY.COM until I realized they're stuck to the crappiest rebatestatus system for CELLPHONES.

I got a NOKIA 6620 with $100 & $150 rebates in "feb 2005". They have a long wait of 180 days. I put up with that and took all the pains to send everything that they required last september. I waited FOUR months until "JAN 2006" to hear from them saying the cheques were being processed and will be mailed. BUT they always seem to be under process and NEVER reached my hands.

I CHANGED my apartment and informed them . IT GOES INTO PROCESS AGAIN. NOW ITS ALMOST 1 YEAR SINCE I SENT MY REBATES AND NO CONTACT. I cant even check my status online and BUY.COM gives me a stupid 1800 numbers which goes into loops of waiting FOREVER. rebatestatus.com is even HORRIBLE.

It looks like a big PHONY system. I would definetly want to complain this SCAM and warn others before they buy a cellphone again.
