BUYandHOLD.com entered an ACH draft on my account on a date that was not authorized which resulted in NSF. They're charging me $25 for the draft and my bank is charging me $25 for the draft. We were discussing WHY funds were not drafted two weeks earlier when they were authorized and BOOM! she decided to do it then. She is being very uncooperative and telling me that it's my fault, not hers. We're still arguing, so I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'm out an extra $50!

2/2002 - I tried three times to get a manager to contact me to resolve this situation. Finally, after several more snotty email letters from the ACH department, I heard from a customer service supervisor. She and I went back and forth a couple of times and here's the final result:

After freezing my account for two months while continuing to bill me for the monthly service charges, they finally decided to waive the $25 NSF fee. However, they will not reimburse me for the $25 from my bank or the monthly fees while I could not access my account. They also will not apologize and instead still insist that they were justified in making the transaction. Bad business!

My best advice is - if you do business with them at all - DO NOT give them ACH access to your checking account or credit card account. Direct deposit or mail in your funds instead.
