We purchased a French Bulldog puppy from Evonne ($2000) that was shipped to us on the 22nd of December, 2007. She said the puppy was 8 weeks old, but the vet believed that the puppy was around 11 weeks old. She arrived with no rabies cert, or no signed health cert, as promised. After having the same problems reported by others (no return phone calls) the puppy arrived and soon began throwing up.
On Christmas Eve the puppy went to the vet (within the 48 hours required,) but the doctor was unsure what was causing the vomiting. Later that night the puppy was rushed to the emergency room with projectile diarrhea and vomiting with blood in her vomit.
Evonne will not return our calls. In the last 24 hours we have already spent $2600 on vet bills and still do not know what is wrong with our puppy! We thankfully paid with a credit card and have since informed the card company to stop payment. We fully intend to file a legal suite and welcome any additional support from those of you who have also been hurt and ripped off by this woman.
UPDATE:
Just wanted to update on what has happened to our sick Frenchie that was purchased from Evonne Denney at Diamond Acres Kennels. Since my last posting, we finally got in touch with Evonne after having called her and her husband several times, and finally faxing over her puppy health guarentee from our vet stating that the puppy was sick and they were not willing to sign anything stating that the puppy was healthy.
Upon speaking with Evonne, she tried to inform us that the severe diarrhea and vomiting was just due to 'nerves.' And that the vets were just trying to 'rip us off.' and that she knew as much as the vets did because sh 'read all the same books.' The Vet stated that this absolutely was not due to nerves, and now with a seriously distended belly, the puppy would die without treatment.
We continued to keep her posted, asking for her advise as to whether she thought we should send the puppy back or continue treatment. She told us that 'well, you can't send a puppy back if she is sick.' With that we continued to get the puppy treatment and tested to find out what was wrong. IT was at that time that let it slip that the puppy was shipped from the Ukraine and probably throwing up because during the 2 days of travel they are not fed, and when they finally do eat, they binge and make themselves sick.
This was the first time we heard anything about an imported puppy. Her website states that ALL her puppies are raised under foot and socialized by her 5 children. She even went so far as to describe the puppy's personality to us, the personality of a puppy she had never met. Finally, over $3000 later, it turns out the puppy had a congenital defect in her Pyloric Valve as well as a congenital hernia.
This is also due to a genetic condition. The vet assured us that with the right surgery the puppy would live a long healthy life...and without she would die. We notified Evonne of this and she told us to have it killed and she would send us another puppy, but it was not in her contract to pay any of the vet bills even though it was diagnosed with a genetic disorder.
We told her, we do not want another puppy from her, and therefore we would pay the $3500 for the surgery and she can be responsible for the over $3000 worth of testing to find out that the 'healthy' puppy she claimed to sell us was actually very sick with a genetic disorder. She said it was not her responsibility to pay for that, and all she will do is send us another one.
We fully intend to take her to court for misrepresentation. We will report her to any and all agencies who will listen; including PITA, Better Business Bureau, Department of Commerce, any animal welfare agency we can find. Please do the same! Those who have had problems will probably be contacted by our attorneys, since this site will not release the info to me, but said if our attorney contact them, they will provide the info. SO those of you have a claim, start (or continue) to document everything you can! We will take her down!
On an end note...we bought this puppy for our mother for Christmas and began to fall in love with her immediately. We spent our entire Charismas in an emergency vet clinic, on the phone with Evonne, specialists, and now attorneys, only to spend over $8500 on one sick puppy! To us (as I am sure most of you who was hurt by this woman) it is not all about the money. It is possible that we might spend more to see this through, but it is about an injustice being done, and lots of people and puppies being hurt. Please join us in stopping her! Power in numbers. yes we used your stud service for pick of the littler...you picked the one you wanted...the puppies were born sept 30, 07...you received your puppy on nov. 19th....we asked that the papers be signed so that we could get the puppies registered..tried to register them online but evonnes dog hadn't had dna testing by the time of breeding...this was clearly stated in her contract....so on dec 19th she emails me and tells me the dog she picked died...seems funny that all of the other ones are still fine and thriving...even the ones we sold to other people...we did inform them of the situation re: the breeder and all said that they had "heard" of her.
So any way, she tries to tell me that the puppy I brought to her was sick...I gave her all of the shot records and visits (2) to the vet, before she even got the dog...she said I was lieing and refused to sign registration papers....well after close contact and assistance with akc...I provided them with the same information I had provided her, my puppies are now registered...so as far as my 2 cents....here they are again....she has also blocked my emails....I just wanted her to know all the puppies now have papers....I am so sorry about everyone elses troubles...I wish I could help...tell everyone you know about this site......

I think it is sooo SAD that these people have nothing~ better to do than to Gossip & Spread Lies!!!!! Hate~ to break it to ya,,,but this is~ a Classified Ad that I was Advertising on....but NO~ Worries~ I have Retired from Importing,,b/c of the "Few" Puppies I received in the last 5 years I have imported that had a Genetic issue, is a pretty low rate compared to the health puppies I have also had. But still My goal was to always~~ improve the Breed!! (And I DID~have on the front page of my web site that I imported by the way)!!
As far as Katlyn go's,,,,this Lady really~ needs to get a Life!!!!!!!!! She DID~~ Read & Sign my Contract,,which states that YES~ we will~ replace~ a Puppy!! I NEVER~ said to Kill the Puppy she received,,,GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!! I said she could return the puppy, & I would replace it with a healthy one. I also like how she said it had a Genetic Hernia,,,well anyone~ with any Common sence,,,knows there is NO~ such thing as a Genetic hernia!! They get this from the momma dog pulling on the umbilical cord too hard when born,,& of course this is something that normally is'nt even something you have to worry about getting fixed!!! That's like saying if your~ human baby is born with an Outey belly button,,you better run~ & get it fixed!!! I don't~ think so!!!
Anyhow,,I NEVER~ avoided her,,& even offered her a Free Puppy,,but as you can see she is VERY~ Hard & Hot headed....and has nothing better to do than to Slam me left & right!!!!! LADY~ this is a living animal,,,I am NOT~ GOD,,,,I had NO~ way of knowing there was somthing wrong with it!! And NO~ I am NOT~ Rich like You,,,that CAN~ Afford that~ kind of Vet Bill!!! Especially when I have 5 Children's mouth's to feed!!!! And just for the Record,,,,to prove One~ of her LIES,,,Everyone~~~ knows~ that you can NOT~~ Ship a Puppy without a Signed Health Certificate from the Vet..So YES~ she does~ have this,,& I DO~ have Proof of this as well!!!! Not to mention,,,what is she even talking about RABIES??? You don't~~give a puppy this~ young a Rabies shot!!! They get it between 5-6 months of age,,,NOT~ 8 weeks!!!!! And it did~ come with

And as Far as the TERRY~ lady that keeps throwing in her two cents worth,,,THIS~ Lady was someone that Used my Stud service-Teddy that IS~ Registered with AKC. ((You can contact AKC personally to find out if Teddy is registered by the way,,which of course he IS)) Anyhow,,,I was supposed to have gotten pick of the litter,,& so of course I did,,,and she tries to deliver this puppy to me at 6 weeks with NO~ Shots!! And I told her No~ it needed shots,,& 8 weeks is the soonest~ I would take it with~ Shots of course. So she delivers her to me,,& of course with NO~ Shot records,or even Vet checked at all~,,& within days it DIES with it's insides coming out of it's bottom!!! And of course I did~ take pictures for proof!!! And of course she was NOT~ willing to do anything abou it. So of course I was NOT~ going to register the litter,,,when she sent me a puppy that died within days of receving it!!! I would have easily taken another puppy!!! But of course she refussed!!! And of course I would not have blamed her a bit,,,b/c of course she is Not~ God,,& I'm sure she did'nt have a clue that the puppy had major health problems. But it would have been Nice~ if she would have replaced the puppy. But she showed NO~ Emotion or Concern for the puppy at all either. My Services was'nt~ Free!! So now this Lady will NOT~ leave me alone,,,even though I~~ Owe her NOTHING!!!!! She Owes~ me a Healthy Puppy!!!!!!!!!!
And just for the record,,,,NO~ We have never~ been Sewed or taken to Court,,,Because YES~~ We DO~ Stick to our Contract 100% and always~ send papers,,& stick to our health guarantees!!!

Oh come on..get your attorney, I think he might be interested in a few things we have to say about a person that you are "advertising" for..He can then speak with mine re: this person..so, please before you threaten us with an attorney, know the people you are defending..you might not be so quick to try and "defend yourself". hmmm, someone else I know would do the very same thing...

As We previously stated, We are Not any different than Next Day Pets, ect....or any other Classified Section. Pet Breeders are obviously allowed to post all of their animals Free of Charge, since we are here to offer Outstanding pets to the public.

I agree Katlyn this is her...note the squiggly lines in her response?...they are the same dogs from her "old" website...even that "wonderfull stud dog" is on there..( his puppies can't be registered by the way...she can't even put an email addy, because everyone will know..I think this is nice! I have been given 3 reports from others who have worked with her, that she is giving out this website address and saying that this is HER new web site! Evonne, herself, on multipul occations has said that her old site was having problems and she had to shut it down and opened this site. If you look at the site, you will see that there are NO names anywhere on the website. Even the references are just a list of names and comments. These are not references. THere is no information about any of the breeders, and the puppies are the same puppies she had on her old website. If you are actually not Evonne Denney (WHich I seriously doubt!) you should know that as long as you allow this crooked puppy mill importer to sell her sick, imbred puppies, imported from Russia, at BuyPuppiesNow.org, your name will be attached to hers and your buisness will suffer. As you can see from the other postings, this woman has a huge following of individuals determined to put her down for all the pain she has caused. As far as I am concerned, what is important is that this is where she is selling HER puppies....So Buyer Beware!
