Complaint Review: Byers and Harvey Clarksville TN

I answered an ad posted on Craigslist back in May 2017 about taking over someone lease. I contacted the person who contacted Cathy the landlord. From day one i was targeted. The ad stated that the first month rent waa free and deposit was$300 due to taking over the lease. I paid $550 for the deposit and the same day i decided i didnt want the unit was told my deposit was nonrefundable. So i was forced into moving into the unit on July 29, 2017. The unit was nasty. The company has a checklist and none of the items i checked off were repaired nor replaced.

I paid my rent to Cathy to find out in October 2017 my rent wasn't being paid and that someone used my personal information to illegally set up an account with a company called Paylease After emailing Paylease i found out that someone linked this account to someone else's bank account. I have been evicted, accused of fraud by the police, i have been misinformed by Houston Lyles and Byers & Harvey, i have been victimized and i am in distress. Noone have any evidence i did anything wrong. Yet i am the one who is suffering.
