Complaint Review: C.A.R.S - CARS COMPLETE AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SERVICES WARRANTY

I bought a 2001 PT Cuiser in January of 2009 from a used car company here in Columbus, OH and I also bought an auto warranty from C.A.R.S. for 3 years 36,000 miles.

I had to take the car to a garage to be repaired in December of 2009 and contacted the warranty company to let them know about it.  I faxed them the estimate of the repairs to the car three times.  The first two times I was told that the estimate was not received.  I then called them and asked what was being done about the repairs and they told me that the car didn't need a new timing chain and that the mechanic should use the old timing chain.  They then said that they would send the mechanic the parts and a check for the cost of the repairs and labor but the mechanic hasn't received them.  Don't buy a warranty from C.A.R.S.  they are a complete ripoff.
