Wow! Where to start.

Everything about this warranty company is vague.  I would not ever buy this warranty again and if you do pay for it with American Express or your bank so you have bigger lawyers than you do. 

Here is what they did to me when my starter broke in my 2005 Acura TL.  They sent a rebuilt part...o.k. no big deal but they mailed it over fourth of july weekend.  With Monday a holiday I finally got it after about a week of having no car.  They wouldn't reimburse a rental car(not in their paperwork that I read) and then the big catch.  If a starter job takes your mechanic 2 hours be very careful, C.A.R.S will use a multiple of there $75 an hour and get it close to $100.00 an hour which will be your deductible.  Then they won't reimburse you because it is a wash.  Meanwhile your mechanic is going to charge you $150 to get it done, all the while you think you could put in for the extra $50--WRONG.  So bottom line goes like this - you break your starter in an Acura it is a bout a $500.00 repair if you get a new one. 

C.A.R.S will reimburse you the used starter which is about $107.00. 

You pay $1500.00 for the warranty another $200.00 in labor.  C.A.R.S is out $107.00 and your total is now $1700.00 and to top it off they will laugh at you on the phone and put you on hold time and time again.  This organization shouldn't be called C.A.R.S but another 6 letter word that starts with an F.
