C. Bean is an extremely bad company.  I suggest you pass on this company.  My husband and I had read the negative comment about the company, but thought the comments might be sour grapes. Boy, were we wrong. Do not believe the recruiter or any of the company advertisements. It is all false. The company does not have work for drivers and you will not be home every two weeks. As a driver, you will set for days, a couple of times this was four and five days; the company does not pay for down time. My husband was on the road for 23-days straight and logged less than 5000 miles. He averaged $70 a day pay.  Another incident, my husband had fulfilled his two weeks, and once again, he was not permitted to go home. Dustin, manager of the two dispatchers told my husband, You do not get to go home when you want to; you will go home when the dispatcher tells you. Dustin was on speakerphone, so I heard this statement firsthand.  Therefore, C Bean believes they control the driver 365 days a year and holds them hostage.

When the driver clears a load, he or she will set for hours or days waiting on the next load. When you do get a load, it is rush, rush, rush, and many times driving illegal to get the load delivered so C. Bean does not dock the driver for being late. DOT would have a field day with the logbooks. Incompetent and rude would be the best way to describe the dispatcher, Bob, and the safety director, Tom. By far, the worst we have every witnessed.
