Based on a recommendation from a fellow real estate investor,I hired this company to find a tenant and manage my Baltimore rowhouse. It's an ongoing effort to get any information and even harder to get money.

They placed a tenant in the house, collected a security deposit and partial month's rent, and then kept the security deposit as a management fee. When the tenant is late paying the rent, the company collects its management fee, and I get charged for the shortfall. Almost the only updates I receive are to tell me maintenance needs to be done orbills need to be paid.

My requests for information usually don't get answered until my third attempt, and then the response is something like "check the website" or "call if you have questions."

This is the poorest customer service I have ever experienced from a company I hired to provide a service.
