My husband was hired by C&M Transportation on 3-12-04.
His first paycheck bounced. The other employees checks
were no good either. This company issued replacement checks and THEY BOUNCED!! They then fired my husband for
complaining of the bad checks. There are several others
who quit because of this, and they still have not received a good check.

C & M Transportation aka TransVentory mailed us another
check (regular payroll) and it is not good. We called their bank this morning. Now we need a lawyer, but are too broke because of this to get one. Please help!

25 years down the drain

25 yrs. with the company. I have seen two other owners. There is always changes in this Industry. Never have I seen any man take control and try to manipulate everything to his favor. Because of his size which he thinks is intimatating, a smooth talker. Anybody who had a year with the company before he took over could see a bright future.

C & M had a good reputation. Good driverly time,
Less damage, couresty drivers. In the last six months, I have heard rumors of equipment being sold and the money going into his personal account.

Employees checks started bounceing and then they would replace the checks with a check on the same account, which is one bad check to replace another.

The money deducted for withholding tax and our 401k he spent and not paid in our accounts.
Money deducted from our checks for Health Insurance back in Nov. to present was not paid to the Insurance Co. We were told it would straighten out and we would be reinbured.

As of May 15th 2004 from what I know, it has only took care of it parcelity. There are a number of drivers who must have health Ins. for pre-existing conditions.

I know from watching this whole mess that this could have been avoided if management would have been straight up front and level with the employees.

Also if Aberdeen Mining would of came in last summer like we were told they was going to do. Then this would not have happened. Every week we were told that this was going to happened in two weeks and then when that time came, they would say two more weeks.

I did'nt get all my vacation time for 2003 and only got one week this year. I also have got four weeks pay coming. I worked up until the last week, because I was tring to help keep it open. We were lied to by John Ohle.
