On January 22, 2004 at approx. 4:00pm I was driving south, in the canter lane, on interstate 35E and my car was hit from behind by a truck owned by C&P Pump Services, Inc. and driven by Tim Cooper.
we pulled over to the side of the highway and exchange insurance information. I called Paul Upchurch, President of C&P Pump Services, Inc. on his cell phone 214-718-8252, to varify that Tim Cooper worhed for him and that he was insured. Mr. Upchurch told me that he was insured.
When my insurance company tried to collect for Mr. Upchurchs insuraance company, they were informed that Mr. Upchurch had NO INSURANCE! My insurance company had to pay the claim. I was out the $500.00 deductible.

On January 29, 2005, I made an error when I claimed that C&P Pump Services didn't have insurance when my car was involved in an accident that accured on January 22, 2004. I mistakingly reported to my insurance company that it was a Dodge truck that hit me. When i fact it was a Ford F-350 owned by Ronnie G. James.
Because of this error my insurance company paid the claim. I apalogize for this mistake. Please, don't let my mistake stop anyone from doing bussiness with C&P Pump Services.

Thank You,

Barry

Cliff,

You should alert the local police and Tezxas DPS.
I have a subscription to ww.publicdata.com and I checked that Driver's licence number and criminal history in Texas. Mr. Cooper has been a guest of TDCJ before so law enforcement in Texas are familiar with him.

In Texas you have to provide proof of insurance to renew your annual registration. If a fraudulent document was used this is a serious matter.

Can You Report Them To The State?

I had this happen to me (it wasn't a company, it was an individual) and my insurance company called to tell me that the driver who hit me did not have proper insurance. I called the Highway Patrol (in Kansas), told them the car's license number, the driver's name and that they were not insured. Since it is against the law to drive a car in this state without insurance, the police would have to revoke the license plate. I'm not sure what happened, by my deductible was suddenly paid. If Texas has the same law, I'd certainly give it a try.
