Complaint Review: C R Bancorp

In the latter part of November, 2003, I was contacted by phone by a person calling himself Ryan, stating he was from C R Bancorp in Long Beach, California, and said my credit card had been approved.

He then stated that if I gave him my checking account number, I would ,for a one time fee of $149.00,recieve a Visa credit card with a limit of $2500.00, which would help me re-establish my credit.

I purposly gave hom the wrong number, giving me time to check out the company through the BBB. I did not find anything good or bad concerning the company. The next day ,a woman called back stating I had indeed given them the wrong number.I gave her the correct number, and on December 3, 2003, $149.00 was taken from my checking account by them.
I have NOT recieved anything from them, nor can I reach them by telephone. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
