C.R. England Big Scam!! They play dirty, petty games Salt Lake City Utah
This Company called me after I submitted an application through USA Trucking Careers. I had spoken at length with therecruiter who was confident on getting me on with C.R.England. A few days later, Trudi from C.R.England calls me saying that my application had been approved even with 2 felony convictionsthat were over 14 yrs. old.
Their application asked if there were any felonies within the last 10 yrs. I made sure Trudi knew I had felonies as I didn't want to have any problems. She said no problem & I had been approved and went onto give me a confirmation number for the bus ticket to Mira Loma,CA for training.
Upon arrival I went through an interview, pre-hire drug screen & handed a CDL handbook & told to study it as we'd be tested tomorrow.
Now I made it through the first 2 days and was called into Jennifer's office (the onsite recruiter) and was told that I was being let go because I have 2 felonies. She went onto state that the company requires they be 20 yrs. old. If it had been just 1 felony being over 10 yrs. old I would be alright.
Now, I was left to fend for myself to get back home & I was 300-350 mi. from home & the company would not even help me get back home. The recruiter to me she was sorry & they couldn't help.
Jennifer had tried quoting Federal Regulations on felons driving trucks which I had a friend look into. There are no Fed. regulations on that. Outside of hauling HazMat.
