Complaint Review: C.R.England

I tried my best to be productive as a lease operator. CRE would never admit it, but they repeatedly gave me jobs that were impossible to complete legally. I finally got into a dedicated account where I was promised a minimum of 2400 miles a week as a base. This soon "went away" and miles were doled out to "favorite" drivers. Finally I was making less money than it took to pay my fuel and lease payment.

At first I was running about 3000 Miles a week, but before long I was running less than 1700 miles per week. My settlements came out to be a negative number for several weeks in a row. I had to walk away from the lease and the job owing money to England. I could not afford to work for them.

Also, at one point, I cut my head open on the bottom of a trailer. This happened when I was very tired and was asked to retrieve a trailer that was left at a vendor. My driver manager said "come on Allen be a team player" so, wanting to be a good employee and against my better judgment, I did it anyway. I had to have 14 stitches in my head at the emergency room. The insurance I had with England agreed to pay the bill but has since refused to pay for the accident because "it could have been a pre-existing condition".

I am now on a debt collectors list for over $4,000.00. I don't know what to do. All of these problems arose because I chose to work for CR England. I am sorry I made that choice. If you are reading this and contemplating working for CRE, DON'T DO IT!!
